There are many ways families, farmers, organizations, businesses and faith-based groups can make a difference by donating food to Southeast Missouri Food Bank.
Hold a food and fund drive
Sponsor a food and fund drive for at your office, civic organization, school or church. Collect our most needed items. Our Food Drive Kit will help you set it up and get started. For more information or to schedule your food drive, please call us at 573-471-1818 or email rmcquay@semofoodbank.org. Raising funds for the food bank allows us to acquire products that are currently needed most. We can provide donation envelopes or employees may give online at semofoodbank.org/donate. Be sure to put your company and team name in the Comments box if you want your donations to be tracked.
Donate produce or livestock
Donate livestock, such as beef or pork, to the food bank. In some cases, donors may qualify for state tax credits. Farmers also may donate excess produce, such as potatoes or watermelons. Plant an extra row or an extra acre for the hungry or donate excess garden produce to the food bank. Call us at 573-471-1818 or email sminfo@semofoodbank.org for details.
