As the primary hunger-relief organization in the region, we serve 80,000 individuals every month and distribute nearly one million pounds of food per month.
The food bank is a registered 501c, and Charity Navigator has awarded us its highest possible rating for our adherence to ethical practices. More than 94 percent of donations we receive are put back into programs, with less than 6 percent used for administration and operations.

Missouri Tax Credit Programs
The Food Bank also participates in two state tax credit programs. People with business, farm or rental property may qualify for 50 percent tax credits through the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP). The minimum donation for NAP tax credits is $1,000. Food Pantry Tax Credits are also available. There is no minimum donation for Food Pantry Tax Credits, and the maximum is $2,500. Please note, all tax credits must be requested at the time of donation.
